Welcome!
I’m a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive experience treating a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, identity exploration, and life transitions. I work with individuals across the lifespan and tailor therapy to meet each person’s unique needs and goals. My background includes training and work in diverse clinical settings such as the Palo Alto VA, community mental health clinics, and university counseling centers including MIT, Boston College, and Tufts University.
In addition to my general practice, I specialize in LGBTQ+ mental health and place a strong emphasis on women’s issues. I am also the founder of The Listening Room, a therapy center where I work alongside skilled clinicians and provide supervision to early-career therapists. To further deepen my practice, I am currently engaged in advanced psychoanalytic training at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute (BPSI). Above all, I am committed to providing affirming, inclusive, and culturally responsive care to all clients.
Authentic Life. Authentic Self. Authentic Connection.
-
My work is rooted in guiding people toward authenticity— helping you live a life in alignment with who you truly are and fostering deeper, more meaningful connections that enhance the quality of your life.
MY THERAPY METHOD
-
Culturally Informed
As a first-generation, bilingual Armenian American woman, I understand how cultural identity shapes mental health and experiences of marginalization. My approach is rooted in culturally responsive care that honors the complexities of identity and intersectionality. Your lived experience—who you are and how you move through the world—is not just acknowledged, but central to our work together.
-
Psychodynamic
I use the therapeutic relationship as a key tool for growth and healing. The dynamics you experience in your relationships often emerge in therapy, offering a safe space to explore patterns and gain insight. This can lead to corrective emotional experiences that support deeper connection and lasting change. I believe that meaningful relationships are central to our overall happiness and well-being.
-
Skills and Support based
Alongside deeper insight work, I offer practical tools to help you manage stress and navigate challenges. Therapy can be both a space for reflection and a source of real-time support—providing skills to help you feel more grounded, resilient, and empowered in daily life.
Supervision & Training at The Listening Room
At The Listening Room, I provide advanced graduate students with real-world experience in private practice therapy. Trainees gain opportunities to offer individual therapy and design or co-lead groups, all within a warm, collaborative setting. My supervision emphasizes developing your unique clinical voice while grounding your work in evidence-based and culturally responsive care. This is an ideal training environment for students seeking to grow in a supportive and professionally enriching community.
